Teach
Your Teen Responsible Spending and Saving Habits
Is
your teen a conservative saver or a frequent spender? Most teens
know more about how to find the next big trend than how to balance
a checkbook. The benefits of teaching teens responsible spending
and saving habits can last a lifetime.
The
University of California Cooperative Extension has developed a website
for teens that provides information and tips about how to develop
healthy spending and saving habits. It includes a number of games
and activities that teach kids lessons about making responsible
financial decisions. In addition, the website provides links to
additional resources that promote financial literacy.
